On Tuesday the Tour announced that he was named top rookie for 2018, beating out a field that included Austin Cook, Satoshi Kodaira, Joaquin Niemann and Keith Mitchell.In addition to Wise's breakthrough victory at Trinity Forest, his season also included a runner-up finish at the Wells Fargo Championship and a T-5 finish in The Northern Trust.Wise won both the individual and team national title in 2016 during his senior season at Oregon.
